DNA model

The past 2 weeks we have been studying cell structure, DNA, and cell replication. A is loving her study of anatomy so far this year and had a lot of fun using one of our science kits to learn more about DNA, bases, and replication.

First she constructed a DNA model using her knowledge of base pairs.

Then she "unzipped" the DNA and practice replication.

Tada! Replicated DNA.
