Our week in review

It was a fun, but busy week. We had lots going on, both homeschool and social. Our neighbor had a party for his birthday and A had tons of fun hanging out and interacting with all the grown ups....I am not sure how she did it, but she managed to eat 4 hot dogs, sans buns since she fed them to the dogs, pasta salad, chips, 3 brownies, chocolate cake, and a hamburger, plus several handfuls of cucumbers. WOW! Amazed that her belly did not hurt.

Anyway, here are some pics from our week in review :)

Working on spelling. Using letter tiles to complete the word.

Puzzles and Luk Bambino

We built a stick fort! This was a ton of fun, and is still standing even after this weekend's rain storm.

Looking through the stick fort window and taking a "nap"

Enjoying the beautiful spring weather.

Back inside for some Living/NonLiving Montessori Classification Work and Parts of Plants.

Words/Silly Words phonics reading game
And on Saturday, A went over to her shelf and pulled out her pattern blocks and the complete the pattern cards I made for her that she has not used in sometime, and spent quite a bit of time with them.

A very fun week!

On the learning front A can now count to 100 by 1's, 5's, and 10's....the by 5's is new. The other day she just out of nowhere counted to 100 by 5's. I asked her where she learned that, and she told me by watching me roll coins the other day. "You counted the nickles by 5's mama."
WOW!

Comments

Very nice week. We have a standard Miniluk with some German games for it, and Anna enjoyed it for a while. Then we tried more complex self-made cards and she pulled back. Maybe it's time to try again with easier challenges.
